Pleasantly calm actually. Finally starting to feel more at home in my apartment.

Seemingly timid, but I have a strong head on my shoulders. I’m quiet but not in the sense that I don’t speak my mind. I’m confident in some things, but in my own skin I’m uncomfortable sometimes. Strong attraction towards I guess what people would say “dark things”, I like realism, I like a touch of bleakness in things (movies, music). I connect most easily with people who haven’t had an easy life, who have a darkness of their own. Sometimes this is a bad thing, sometimes it results in beautiful friendship. I always feel like I’m chasing after something, or running from something, searching for greener pastures so to speak and I wonder if I’ll ever feel like I’m not.

16. have you ever wanted to tell someone something but you didn’t?

Of course. So many times actually, but I’m getting better at saying things that need to be said even though I fear it will hurt the other person.

18. do you miss how things were a year ago?

Absolutely not. A year ago I was coming out of a really rough break up, unable to go back to school, and working two jobs, one of which I fucking hated. I’m in a much better place now thank god.

to finish school and get into and be able to attend a good grad school. get my masters in psych and start my own practice and/or work in an in patient ed treatment center. find some sort of peace with what it really means to be healthy along this long road.
